Looking for birth parent(s) in Dallas Texas area. I was born on 25 March 1961, according to the legally-changed birth certificate given to me. I am a male, born with reddish-blond hair, and I was adopted out of Hope Cottage by terrific parents (both recently deceased). Interestingly, I wasn't adopted until about 6 weeks of age, reason unknown. My birth mother insisted that I be baptized into the Episcopal faith (and I was). I received some general biographical information (since lost), but I recall that it said that my birthparents were college students, either interested in, or studying drama. Almost all ancestors were blonds with blue eyes, except for one grandfather (don't recall which side of parentage), who had black hair and darker skin, and may have had Cherokee blood (popular to claim at the time, I'm told). As I age and raise my son, I want to know more about my heritage, at a minimum, and hopefully more, if either parent is willing to share that. I am grateful for your actions 46 years ago.
