ISO B mother of my deceased father. Possible intra-family adoption. He was born Kenneth Arthur LaVenture in southern Calgary in April 17, 1937. He was taken home from hospital and adopted by Elsie<nee Kirkpatrick>(who was aborigional) and Jack Shortt,(who was not aborigional)His name was changed to James Douglas Shortt. Elsie told my mother it was a relative of hers who was his bio mom. Her surname may be or may have been LaVenture.Health and pedigree information needed, family connection is also desired!
