I am an adoptee in search of birth family. I was born in Little Rock, AR. My birthday is February 21, 1963. My name when adopted was Joan Owen. The adoption was through Pulaski County DHS (Child Welfare). The child welfare workers name was Ruth Johnson. The adoption was finalized on September 3, 1964 by a Judge Reed. This is the only information I have. I am a female. I am 5'5" with brown hair and brown eyes.I have found out thru my non-identifying information that my birth mother was 28 when I was given up. I know I have a brother who was 8 and a sister who was 2 when I was born. Our mother had dark hair and blue eyes. The maternal grandmother and grandfather were taking care of the other children and could not afford to care for another on social security income. The birth mother had 2 older brothers and 2 younger brothers at the time of my birth. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
