My Great Uncle, Benjamin Franklin Field, was born abt. 1834 in Maine. He traveled to Calif., his last letter to family dated Jan. 1883 from Truckee, CA. I called the City Clerk there but she had no record of his death. I search to learn what happened to him and where he died and is buried. He was unmarried. Thanks for any help or info.
