My great-grandfather, James Henry Mitchell was born Dec. 31, 1857 in Geneva, Dunklin, MO. His parents are listed as just R. Mitchell and Martha Mitchell. I can not find any more information on them. I have tried to fin Geneva, MO on maps and even old maps do not have it listed. I have posted a question about it before and someone told me it was a small community near the Arkansas line. I tried to get back to them but their email address would not let me. If any one has any information about a Mitchell family that lived in this area PLEASE contact me. I have hit a brick wall. James Mitchell married Sarah, Sallie, Bright May 4, 1890 in Arkansas. They had eight children. He died March 20, 1906. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
