I am trying to locate any information regarding my grandfather MANUEL ELOISES GONSALVES who was born in the then BRITISH GUIANA in I think 1888.I believe he was born in DEMERARA. I believe that there is a statue of his father in GEORGETOWN. One of his sisters emigrated to AUSTRALIA. MANUEL came to SOUTH AFRICA and married SUSAN and they had my father JOHN (1909). MANUEL died in ELDORETTE KENYA during WW2, where he was a camp commander. I and my family would be grateful for and information concerning the GONSALVES family.
