Searching for ancestry of: Margaret Joyce, b. 1830, Northern Ireland. immigrated to USA in abt. 1848, Boston, MA.,immigrated to Canada in 1852,when she married William Andrew Smith of Cape Sable Island, Nova SCotia; died in 1911 in NS Brother George Joyce was in British Military stationed in Halifax, NS, years ukn. Family stories say she came alone during or directly after the Irish famine. It was also thought she came from County Cork, but one census in MA, according to her daughter, says she came from Northern Ireland. Any help is appreciated. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
