Dorothy A A PRIOR was born in 1905, the daughter of Hubert PRIOR, and her birth was registered in Fulham, London. She was a soubrette and light comedy actress and her stage name was PADDY PRIOR. She married tenor, Webster BOOTH in 1932 but filed for divorce which was made final in October 1938. She emigrated to Australia in 1948 with her friend, singer, Bettie BUCKNELL(E). I would be glad to hear from anyone who has her in their family tree and can give me more information about her, particularly whether she remarried and about her life, and date of death in Australia. The attached photograph was taken in the summer of 1933 when Paddy and Webster were appearing in the PICCADILLY REVELS concert party in Scarborough. They are seated next to one another in the middle row. Paddy is on the extreme left of the picture. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
