I am searching for birth parents and genetic family. Original birth certificate states name "Baby Slater," female, born Semptember 1, 1960 in Evanston Hospital, Evanston, Illinois. Was adopted through The Cradle agency there. I am hopeful that my birth mother's surname was Slater. She could have been from Chicago areo or anywhere in the US, since I believe The Cradle at that time provided a home for expectant mothers. Cradle's non-identifying records indicate she was about 20 years old and that I am of Dutch, English and other Euro blood, and I appear so: fair-skinned, auburn hair, green hazel (very myopic) eyes, slim and 5'4".
