1966-1967 I was a child at St. Joseph's Child and I worked with the newborn babies...they were great - some even became my god children. I registered to help those adopted while I worked with them to get and idea of their day. There were 2 nuns : Sister Mary Vianny (sp?) and Sister Alice. There was a glassed in room before entering the nursery where perspective parents could stand and view all the babies as they were being cared for. Those viewing were specifically shown one baby - generally an older one, at least 3 weeks old. I remember my godson, Joseph, was one of the babies who was with us the longest - around 4 months. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
