Young Daniel Hall, aged 7 years, arrived in Adelaide on the James Fernie from England in 1854 with his widowed mother Mary and brother John and sisters Elizabeth and Ann Maria. His mother later married Thomas Goodger, his sister Ann Maria married Thomas Lanyon (1858) at Burra, his sister Elizabeth married Carl Messner (1858) at Rowland Flat and his brother John is thought to have married Mary Johns at Kadina. What happened to Daniel Hall? He may be the one who married Selina Warner, daughter of John Warner, at Norwood on 28 June 1873. If anyone has any information on Daniel or the other families mentioned, I would like to hear from you. I have some info and would be happy to exchange.
