I am trying to find some information about my father's family. His name was James J. Corcoran. He was an altar boy at St. Peters parish in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania on Arch Street. We were told that his mother died in childbirth. I believe her name was Anna Hensel and his father was Martin Corcoran. James was born in 1925. My sister and I were told that he had a brother who was a priest, possibly named Peter, and a sister who was a nun, possibly named Colleen or Kathleen, and that they both are deceased. We were told that his sister died during the floods in PA. We were also told that my father was raised by his aunt who's name may have been Hannah Moore.
