I am looking for my gg grandfather, Robert E. Hastings, who, according to his naturalization petition, was from County Monaghan and came to the U.S.A. in October 1822. He was born in March 1806. He became a resident of Canandaigua, Ontario County, NY in about 1835, married Sarah King and had 13 children. Did he come alone? Who were his parents?
