Is there ANYone else out there researching this line of McKinley's? I am Looking for Information on David McKinley born February 14, 1780 in DE(?)& died September 17, 1861 in Haddon Twp. Sullivan Co., IN. He married Elizabeth Russell July 8, 1815 in Nelson Co., KY. Elizabeth was born January 22, 1794 in PA and died September 5, 1865 in Haddon Twp., Sullivan Co., IN. Children were John D., William R., Mary J., Nancy J., Sarah A., David, James R. I would like to know where David was born and who his parents were as well as siblings names. (not asking much am I??) Census Records indicate DE? Could be Delaware Co., PA but not sure. or Delaware state. I seem to be the only McKinley descendant out there researching this line, sure is lonely!
