Great Great Grandmother Penelope Ballard born about 1776 maybe Orange Co., N.C. area (not sure) married Sion Record they moved to Maury Co., Tenn. She died there in 1838 have not been able to tie her to set of parents. Penelope had Record nephew who married Catherine Ballard. I found a book on Ballard family at Clayton Library in Houston. Had Orange Hardback cover that listed this family. When went back it had been stolen. If you are at a genealogy library and see this orange book on the Ballard family please send me the information. This is a very hard brick wall. Hope to hear from someone. I believe she is related to the Penelope Ballard born in Ma. in 1705 as it seems to be a family name. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
