Why did our ancestor Alexander Pixley/Pixlee change his name to Robert Pigsley? I have been a genealogist for 40 years & have books, numerous books & files on our family. We descend from William Pixley of Hadley, Mass. This line also connects to the Lancets of Germany & Indiana. Our Blairs emigrated to York co., Penn. My Grandmother Blair was descended from the Kricks of Berks Co. Pennsylvania. Frantz Krick was one of the earliest "Pennsylvania Dutch" settlers of Berks co. I will be glad to share infomation with other 'cousins'. I have our Blair line back to Charlemagne thru the Randolphs & Flemings of Virginia.
