My grandmother was Ruthelia Friday who marr. Dr. Frederick Blair DDS. She was born in Steele City, Nebraska, Her parents were John Henry Friday & Rebecca Foreman. John Henry was born in Darke Co. Ohio & Rebecca was born near Lancaster, Penn. They came to Nebraska as pioneers in 1868. John Henry was in the Civil War & spent time in the infamous Confederate prison at Andersonville Georgia. Rebecca's parents were Henry C. Foreman & Rebecca Krick. Rebecca Krick's parents were Peter Krick & Rebecca Bone. Peter's parents were John Peter Krick & Catherine Rader. John Peter's parents were Frantz Krick (several spellings) & Catherine Stoudt(en) Frantz came to Pennsylvania in 1731 & was an early "Pennsylvania Dutch" settler in Berks Co.
