Query Text: |
My great-grandmother was Lucretia Jane Turner Fleming. She marr. Guyan Martin Blair in College Springs, Ia-1876. Her parents were Sarah Turner & John Tarlton Fleming in Danville Ky. John Tarlton's parents were William Randolph & Mary Randolph of Virginia. Mary's grandparents were Col. William & Mary Isham Randolph of Henrico Co., Va.-both of whom were of royal descent. I have their lines back before Charlemagne. Thomas Jefferson was Mary's 2nd cousin. Therefore, Lucretia is our 'golden connection' to royal descent. Her mother Sarah's parents were Sophia Carver & Starling Turner. Starling's parents were William Pinkston Turner & Acton Howard. They lived in Rowan Co., NC. I would like to know the 'Pinkston' connection as the Turners & Pinkstons seem to have intermarried. Also who are Acton's parents? She is listed in the DAR Index as William was in the Revolution-but there is no other info about her. The Turners & Howards may have been from Frederick Co. Md. I would be glad to share info on these lines. I have posted notes & photos on my website: pixleyblair.tribalpages.com | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
