Ammons, Almonds, Ammond, Ammonds, Amon Family in Kershaw County, South Carolina My 2X great-grandfather was Thomas Ammons, married to Millie Partin Ammonds. He died at Manassas Junction, VA in 1862 during the Civil War. I believe that he is buried in an unmarked grave in that area. Millie was buried at Swift Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Boykin, South Carolina. I am trying to verify his parents and further back. I find many Ammons in Marlboro County, SC and western NC, but am unable to tie Thomas to them. Any help would be appreciated. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
