I am looking for information regarding my Great Great Grandfather. His name was John McKune. That is how it was spelled when he came over with his Mother Mary McDonald Mckune and brother James McKune. Their father, Henry McKune, died and they left for the United States around 1846-1849. He was born in 1830. We understand that he was born in Mayo. That is where our info ends. We are not sure where in Mayo he lived or anything regarding his father other than his name. Any information would be wonderful.
