I am looking for information on my ancestors from Retford, Nottinghamshire. Elias Wilson was born in 1800 and Hannah (I think Lindsley) was born in 1803. They married in 1825, emigrated to Canada in about 1835. Their children were Thomas (my ancestor), John, Elias, Mary A., Eliza and one other male. Elias Sr. was a gunsmith and a member of the bodyguard of the Duke of Wellington. They both died in Michigan, USA. Hannah in 1886 and Elias in 1890. Thanks! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
