Thanks to the person who responded to my request regarding my Great Grandfather Jacob Pearson of Simpson Kansas. Here's more info about him. He as born in Sweden in 1857 or 1856. Married Matilda Erickson in 1899. Three kids. Family memo says Jacob died in 1936. We have census info thru 1930. Do not know name of assylum or if he died there. Can't find him in cemetary listings, etc. How do I access assylum records?
