I am seeking informaton on the William Goodwin family of Crawford County IL. This was a large family with eight children, and another three more after he re-married. They came to Crawford County from Dearborn County IN in about 1822. William died there in about 1835. His wife Ruth died there in about 1824. His second wife was Elizabeth York. His children that may be in your family line are Jehu (John), Ransom, Jarrett, Moses, William J, Hiram, Silas, and Mary. Children from his marriage to Elizabeth York are: Sarah Ellen, Elijah Warren, and Harriet Frances. I need information about father William, where he was born and raised, wife Ruth's maiden name, where born, etc. I would appreciate being contacted by a member of one of these families who may help with some of my questions.
