I am a female adoptee searching for my birth parents, specifically my birth mother Connie D. Bennett. I was born on February 13, 1982 in Mountain Home, Idaho on Mountain Home Air Force Base, in the base hospital. My adoption became official 10 days later but my adoptive parents maintained custody during that time. I was told my mother, Connie D. Bennett, was 20 years old and may be part-Korean American. She was in the military at the time. After my birth she took leave to California. The adoption was private. My birth father was overseas at the time of my birth and returned to Idaho in the weeks after my birth. My birth mother told her social worker that she would never tell him she was pregnant so I do not believe he knows I exist. The attached photo is a photo of me, Tracie Jean (Lehman) Reed, at age 27. | |||||||||||||||||||||
