I am the adopted son of Helen Weston Sligh and Eddie Sligh of Greenville, SC. My birthdate is April 24, 1956. I learned I was adopted after my father's death a couple ofyears ago. My adopted mother (Helen) died in 1960. My father remarried Lula Weir Sligh a few years later. She died in 1992. I was told that my birth mother had other children and that she tried on a number of occaisions to allow my parents to establish a relationship with me, but they refused.
