I'm looking for information on William Almon (sp?) Richey from the St. Clair, Shelby, Jefferson county area of Alabama. He had several children: John Franklin Richey b.abt.1893, Oliver, Woodard, Fanny, Charlie, Olan, and a few others. He was also married to a Amanda Drucilla Rich. Prior to his marriage to Amanda Drucilla (sp?) Rich, he was listed in the 1880 Jefferson County, AL census as having a wife (first name Carry, age 18) and a son, James M., age 2. His parents are listed in the 1860 Jefferson County census as James RICHEY and wife, MARY (Lasseter). However, I haven't found James and Mary in any census after this time.
