looking for giles bowers, born around 1804 in north carolina and moved to south carolina by 1827, where he married mary "rebecca" giles of charleston. related families in sc are giles and perry. giles moved to georgia by 1831. related families in that state are jossey, sasser and devore. giles disappeared from the record around 1840 and several of his children moved to dallas co., ark., around 1868.
