SUDBURY : SUDSBERRY : SUDSBURY

Query Text:

I have a interest to communicate with the Sudsberry or Sudbury family from Holiday in MO for Genealogy purposes only. One of my GGGrandfathers, Campbell F Moore b.abt.1812, his wife Celina/Salina and several of their younger children sold his large farm in Appomattox Co VA in March 1880 and moved to Memphis, Scotland Co., MO by June 1880. There have been several “Internet Trees” related to the children that went to MO, but I can never get anyone to actually respond, reply, or communicate about the family that went to MO. So far, I have not been able to find any published book reference that lists anything related to the families except a couple of probable marriages in Scotland Co in 1880’s. I have not yet exhausted LDS films. One Tree reported Salina d. 25 Jul 1882 (no source or detail), but I have no death info on Campbell F. Moore except he was alive in the 1880 Census. One of the children of Campbell, Julia/Judith Ann Moore b.abt.1854 is said in 2 of these Trees to be married to Davis/David Sudsberry, son of the Sudsberry family of VA. There was a Moore family Tree on Ancestry by a Pamela Moore that I contacted at one time and she replied it was info generated by her Mother. I offered to provide extensive Ancestry of the Moore line of the family I have uncovered, never published by anyone else, I was most happy to share and my only request was on info on various descendants of the families there and what the sources were (even if just verbal). The result of the request is the Tree completely disappeared from Ancestry! A most strange result. I was able to copy pages of much of it when I found that one and have been able to reconstruct Census family members of most of it. Normally 99% of Genealogists are helpful when asked for info, at least to the extent of their knowledge or sourcing. Somehow requests for access to original info on these families seem to get a unusual response. I'll be glad to share more details.
