I am looking for birth parents. I was born near or in Hammond,Indiana January 1970. I beleive my birth mothers name was Charlene Benda and fathers last name might of been Rivera. My maternal grandmother was the one who put me up for adoption because she was the one taking care of me and she was sickly and so was I as a baby I was asthmatic. I was 6 months when my adoptive family took me in and the adoption papers were done and filled in 1971, right after I turned 1 years old. I am white skinned with black hair/dark brown eyes and lots of face freckles, was tall for my age growing up but stopped at 5'7. My adopted mother described meeting my birth mother to be very american country type of girl, she doesnt remember young or old, I imagina young since I was being cared for by maternal grandmother.
