I am searching for my natural birth parents. I was born in Stratford Hospital in Taranaki, NZ on the 18th of May 1969 at 4.17pm. I weighed 5lbs and 14ozs with dark hair(F). My adoptive parents names are Merle and Trevor Downing from New Plymouth where I have lived all my life. All I know of my birth mother is from what I was told by a lady who was in the same ward at the same time as my birth mother. She recalls that my mother enjoyed doing some type of craft eg cross-stitch and she remembers her saying "They won't let me see my baby".
