My Grandmother was Sarah Jane Rolfe c1882 to 1923 She was the daughter of Thomas Rolfe 1859 and Grandaughter of Zachariah Rolfe c1826. The family seems to have originated from Norfolk UK but Thomas Rolfe was born in The Cape of Good Hope before coming to UK. Family legend says that we are decended from John Rolfe the Tobaccopioneer. There was also a connection to Pocahontas who was brought to Uk and was introduced to the King. Would like to hear from any one with connections. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
