 I am looking for information on the Fort family in NY State, Albany area, lineage of first family ( Hueguenots) La Forte, alt. spelling ?through Jane Fort maybe Jane A Fort, who married Henry P Van Rensselaer Columbia Co. early 1800s, son of Capt. Peter VR, who served in Revolution M. Maria Ten Broeck I have heirlooms from first family in late 1600s according to family tradition.
