I am the wife of a man that was adopted. He was born in Eugene, OR on February 27, 1963. It was a private adoption done through a lawyer by the name of Stanley R. Darling of Darling, Vonderheit and Hershner. I have no name for a birth mother or father, I just have original adoption papers. They have left out any names. As far as I know she was an Italian woman who was married at the time but her husband was off at the war. My husband was born at Sacred Heart Hospital, and the attending physician was related to his adopted mother I believe. He moved to Indianapolis 4 days after he was born and was raised by a wonderful couple named Bill and June Allen (both deceased) If there is anyone out there that can help me I would love the help. We have a son now, and it would be sure nice to find out any medical information, diseases or anything else that runs in the family.
