A soldier who may have been my GR Great Grandfather, Willam Bayne, served under Wellington at Waterloo and was exited at Dublin from the military after 30 years service credit. We lose all information after that. Known..He was son of George Bayne & Mary Dewar and was christened in July 1778. He had an older brother George, christened 1776 and a sister Margaret Bayne, christened 1764. They lived in Perth, Scotland. William entered the service there. Any info or ideas are appreciated.
