An adopted child, gender unknown given up for adoption at Grand Fall's Hospital in 1936 0r 1937 by Sarah Higdon(nickname...Sadie from New Harbour, Trinity Bay, Newfoundland. She was the daughter of William Thomas Higdon and Lydia Leah Reid. Sarah was a diabetic who had to use Insulin. She was employed by Peter Rowsell, Millertown. Sarah Higdon may have been 17 or 18 years old when her child was born. She later moved to Nova Scotia where she met Lawerence Wentzell whom she married and had two sons and a daughter. Sarah Higdon legally changed her name to Doreen Sadie. She passed away in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia on the 1st of July 1998. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
