Bambridge Wichman anau. Thomas Bambridge an ex-convict of Australia went to Tonga and ended up in Tahiti and married Maraea a Haumani O'Connor and they lived at Pare in Papaeete. They had a daughter by the name of Martha who married William Wichman and they had one child Henry he married Te Arii Maevarua and they had a son Te Upoo and he and Henry left Tahiti as the French forced them out of Tahiti and they went to Rarotonga where Henry married twice. Te Upoo married Arave Te Tuanui Paraurahi of Tahiti and they had a total of 10 tamariki Mere and Papa George as the eldest two.
