I am looking for information on John Derrig who was born in Ireland (Mayo) around 1812. His family (wife Catherine Collins Derrig) immigrated to Canada in the mid 1840's. I believe his wife and children immigated to the U.S. (Illinois) in the 1870's but his wife was listed as a widow in the 1880 census. Trying to find death information on John.
