Query Text: |
I am searching for my biological father, Jim Whitten. In the late 70s-early 80s he was living in North Carolina (specifically Gaston County) with my family. He claims to have been born in Kansas (possibly Wichita) and to be of Native American ancestry. He may have (at least) two other children, by the names Candice and Steven (Hussy/Hussey may be their last name, and they may hail from Tennessee). The Jim I am searching for has a habit of using aliases, and a penchant for drink. He also has had numerous run-ins with the law. There is a possibility that he was in the state of OH in or around 1990. I have little information, obviously, but I do know that he had black shiny hair, was born around 1945, had at least one brother, and laid carpet for a living (when he was here). Among the miniscule personal effects he left behind was a photograph of a gravesite - the name reads Leroy Whitten. My mother believes that Leroy was possibly his stepfather. I don't want anything from him except information. All I want is to know my family history - to make a family tree. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
