Am researching James Maxwell, who was born in Scotland around 1799. In 1828, he married Eliza Linton in St. Andrews, New Brunswick, Canada. He died May 26, 1862. Eliza was born November 11, 1811, and died May 16, 1894. Does anyone have any information about James Maxwell, when he immigrated to Canada, his parents or family in Scotland, or is anyone a descendant of his?
