Seeking information on an ElDorado Crider married to a James Bearden. James died 1913. Also seeking to find out who the parents of David Valentine Crider are. James A. Bearden was born in/about 1861. His father came from Alabama to Louisiana. James may have been born either place. I ASSUME his death in Louisiana. The only info I have on ElDorado Crider is that she married James. James father William Perry Bearden deceased Louisiana. David Valentine Crider born July 1814 North Carolina and died Jan 1885 Arbacoochie, AL. Married Rebecca Armstrong 1845. She was born March 1819 in Anderson County, South Carolina. Some think that David is son or grandson of a Frederick Crider/Grider that established Fort Grider/Gryder/Crider in Burke Co., North Carolina. I have no knowledge of who his parents are and hunt this info for a friend. As for James and ElDorado, they are my hubbys gggrandparents. Thanks, Mary Beth Bearden | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
