In search of information & relatives & ancestors of Ewing Shelby Witt of Bridgeport, Jackson Co., AL. Ewing was born about 1854 in AL and died about 1918 in AL. He first married Ella Rachel Davis, the daughter of George W. Davis & Sarah. Ewing & Ella had the following children: Sarah Ann, James Alexander, Susan E. "Bettie", John R., Kenny Moran, Jerry Ewing, Margaret Ella, Myrtle & Ada. Ella Rachel Davis Witt died 27 Oct 1897 and is buried at Rocky Springs Cemetery. Ewing married second to Mary Lee Woody Holt in 1900. They had the following children: Mary, Jasper Harding, Cordie, Lucindie, Lonnie & Eugene.
