Looking for relatives with the GOVE surname;some information that I have is: great grandfather Clayton Franklin Gove married to Mae Lottee Eddy Gove. Cyrus Elmer Gove married to a Cora E. Gove and son Elmer E. Gove, Mrs. Cora E. Gove and son Elmer Gove ran a florist (Gove The Florist) in Burlington at 184 Main Street. I believe Mrs.Cora E. Gove was widowed and would like to know details. Resided on Shelburne Road which is where the greenhouse was. My paternal Grandfather Merrill Gove (cousin to Elmer E. Gove) married to Florence Jaisle Gove; would like to have information on date, place of marriage. Merrill Gove's siblings are Maurice Gove, Hazel Gove Hoskam (1904-2003)who was an elementary school teacher in Burlington and Alberta Gove Johnson. Information regarding Merrill's son, Rupert Duane Gove (which is my father, 1938-1991), birth records, and possible foster family placements during his childhood. Would also like information on any living relatives that would be willing to share/copy some photographs of the family. My parents Rupert Duane Gove and mother were divorced and I never had any contact with paternal side of family.
