UPDATE: I have located my birthmother! I have not talk to her yet, but I did talk to her mother and she verified my adoption. She was very nice and I get to meet her next week! She has to get ahold of my birthmom, but I finally have found my family! She is the Sharon on Ash St. in Baytown. My grandmother told me she is very happy I called and is eager to meet me. I hope that this will work all out and by the way it sounds, I will be welcomed to their family. I appreciate all of your help and you are very special people. I thank you all for taking the time to care and I will keep you updated on my story! I don't even know how to feel with so many who cared and I will never be able to thank you all enough! Love to All, Kristi I, Kristi Dodson, am searching for my birthmom. I was born Nov. 19,1973 in Baytown, TX, Harris County. My birthmom was around 15. I have found a birth certificate number that matches mine, her name is Sharon D. Sapp. If anyone can help me on how to find her and also if I do, how do I go about contacting her without scaring her. I found out I have an illness that is hereditary and no cure. I would like my medical history so my doctors can help me. I would like to get to know her, but if she doesn't want that, I understand.
