I am searching for my father's birth mother with a last name of Patterson. My father was born in Iowa City, Iowa on October 28, 1919. His name was Frank (Pat for Patterson) William Hunzinger. We believe his adopted father Frank Edwin Hunzinger was his biological father. He was born at University Hospital and was nicknamed "Pat" by the nurses because his birth mother's last name was Patterson. Eventually he was adopted by Frank Edwin Hunzinger and Effie Chadek-Hunzinger in Iowa. They moved to Milwaukee, WI when he was a child.
