Need parents and siblings of my grandfater, Moses Tessier(Thessier)born in April 1844 in Malone, NY. His Civil War infantry unit was the 37th Regiment Mass Volunteers. He served as a private and a corporal. Parents listed on his marriage record are Joseph and Marry Thessier. Joseph Thessier of Montreal and Canada East is next of kin listed on his Civil War papers. Moses had a brother who was a doctor who simply disappeared. Moses Thessier(Tessier)married Adeline Drouin Hebert Feb 1, 1867. They settled in Hadley, MA and later lived in Northampton, MA. His occupations were broom making, farming, and market gardening. Moses and Adeline Thessier(Tessier)had 12 children with 9 surviving into adulthood(Mary Adeline, Lina, William, Henry Moses, Eva D., George A., Louis E, Dora C. and Raymond E. Tessier. Raymond Octave died in infancy, Emma and Archille died from effects of diptheria. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
