I am seeking information about James Trethewey of Cornwall and his wife Elizabeth Anne "Bessie" Burrows (of Devonshire) who immigrated to the U.S. about 1850. His father was James Trethewey, supposedly a sea captain. James and Bessie had a son John James Trethewey, born 1-10-1867 at Grass Valley, California. I appreciate any information that you can give, especially hometown in Cornwall. Thank you!
