I am searching for my natural father. My mother was Evelyn Brennaman. She lived in the Omaha Nebraska area. She was married in 1939-1945 to Ray Glime and they lived in Council Bluffs IA at least the last 3 years of their marriage. They divorced in 1945. She remarried Harold Curtiss of Bassett NE in 1947. Harold Curtiss adopted me May 1948. I have met Ray Glime's brother in Newton, IA (Ray is deceased) and I am fairly certain I am not related to that family. My adoptive birth certificate states I was born in Omaha NE March 2, 1946. I have pictures of myself at 1 year and 16 months (written on back of photo). The 16 month old picture does not look like a 16 month old child, but more like a child about 2 and 1/2 years so it may be that I was born in 1944 or 1945. I am 5'2" small frame dark brown hair when I was younger and bluish eyes. I look like my mother (very pretty) except for an odd looking left eye. I may have been quite ill during my first year. My picture looks like a child who may have been suffering from a heart problem. My aunt visited me in Omaha when I was under one year old. She said I stayed with a lady to took care of a lot of children. She may have been a practical nurse. My mother did not live there. Ray Glime told his brother that Evelyn was "running around" with a doctor or lawyer in Omaha during their marriage.
