Query Text: |
I researching my maternal Anna [Eckert] Petroski, b. 1882. Her and my great grandfather, Andrew, b. 1875 lived in the Shenandoah area of Pennsylvania, but according to census records both were born in Lithuania. I don't think ECKERT is a Lith surname. I'm finding it difficult to locate much information because I believe the name PETROSKI is phonetic and was probably Americanized when they arrived. Does any of this sound familiar? Any ideas on either surname? | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
