Mary Ann McMillen married John Mort. She was by oral history from W.Va. She had a son George Washington Mort in Ashland PA in 1856. Her husband died in ~1863 from war illness. There is reference to a McMillen in New Lisbon OHIO property records 1803. Any information about relatives of Mary Ann in the McMillen family of Ohio, WVa, or VA would be appreciated. In 1879 she married a Thomas Davis in East Palestine, OH. Her son Geo. Wash Mort also married a Margaret Davis. She had ano son John Mort who fathered 11 children in East Palestine area and many sons. The third child was a Francis, female, nicknamed Fanny Mort. Any infor about Fanny would be appreciated. I am the greatgrandson of Geo. Wash Mort, thru Earl E.(1893-1971) thru Earl J.(1926-alive and flying a plane). Another greatgrandson of the first Geor Wash Mort thru William Mort thru Carl Mort, is Carl Mort Jr., recently appointed Mayor of Sebring Ohio(7/8/02?). Thank you.
