Searching for my great grandmother, her maiden name may have been Alice Barnes or something phonetically close. It is believed that she passed away late 1918++ or early 1920s (in Michigan or Montanna). Her two children (Werth & Myra or Mirabel) were born in Butte, Montanna then adopted by Elmer & Julia Hitchcock when they were very young (probably between 1915 and 1920) Other clues: * The Biological-father, of the children, was also born in Montanna. * Father's last name possibly phonetically simlar to Olson...Olsen... Ol....? * Julia may have been my Greatgrandmother's sister (making her Aunt and Stepmother when she adopted the children).
